Traditional Alpine mazot newly refurbished in contemporary style. Wi-Fi, TV (UK/French),  private parking, amazing views, huge terrace, tres tranquil woodland setting but central Chamonix. Close to A40, 50 mins Geneva, 20 mins Courmayeur, Italy. Great base for all of the Mont Blanc massif ski domains and all of the areas many walking and hiking trails, mountain biking and climbing routes.

The Mont Blanc Chalet has a sofa area and dining table on the ground floor, plus clothes storage and on the mezzanine a double bed area (please note: the bed is accessed by a ceiling opening from the storage cubes you can see in the photo, it is not a traditional staircase).

The kitchen area is well equipped with a full sized oven and fridge, and 4 electric hob rings. There is a modern shower room with washing machine and the mazot has TV, UK Freeview and internet. There is a large storage space for equipment and the outside space is a large 45sq metre deck plus a grass area and the surrounding woodland with brook and spectacular views.

There is private parking for two cars.

Do I need a car to get to town/ski lifts? A car (with snow chains or tires) is essential in winter but in summer there are easy access walking tracks to town (10mins walk to nearest supermarket).

The mazot is situated up a small hill that in winter is a challenge to cars without chains or cars without snow tires/4×4 rear wheel drives. If you are concerned about driving up the lane, then you can leave your car in the parking area at the entrance to Clos de l’Ours and walk up and the Clos entrance is right off the well-cleared main Chamonix access road.
