UPDATE 18/08/2017, Lost Mountaineer in the Mont-Blanc Massif

A body has been found under the Grande Bosse, the PGHM believe he fell 300m over many seracs and finally into a 25m crevasse. Thanks goes out to the brave men & women of the PGHM Chamonix for whats been a busy couple of weeks. 
Our thoughts are with his family and friends. 

Chamonix mountain rescue are calling for people to come forward if they have any information at all.

The French man in question set off on his own on the classic Goûter Route, this route has become very dangerous with the unusual heat we’ve been having since spring. He set off on Tuesday 15th August from the Crozat car-park in Les Houches, he stands 1 meter 80 tall and 85kgs and wearing a dark outfit.
