Friday morning at around 8:30 am, a crack team of six rescuers from the Chamonix PGHM and the mountain animal rescue team, rescued six goats that had lost their way in the snowy hills above the village of Le Tour.

The rescuers quickly skied up the hill to lower the goats off a rocky ridge, soon after the helicopter of Mont Blanc Helicopters was scrambled!  A makeshift crate was attached to the helicopter and the six budding animal alpinists were airlifted back to terra firma.
