Winds are set to stay stable over the coming week, with a 40 Km/h peak on Thursday during the BIG storm.
This Sunday March 3rd, Paul, a little boy diagnosed with a brain tumour, flew over Mont Blanc by helicopter, plus an all action visit to the fire station.
It was initially reported that he had a pole planted in his thigh, but there was no sign of this. The rescuers went on to explain that it was in fact his razor sharp edges that cut so badly into his leg.
After a great effort this season with lots of challenging obstacles to overcome, Chamonix is finally through to the semi finals of the Coupe de France, after a 19 year break!
Two of the victims were much loved Chamonix locals, who will leave a deep hole in the hearts of many across Chamonix, our thoughts go out to all families and friends at this horrible time.
As of tonight Chamonix will be under a thick layer of nimbostratus producing lots of white stuff!
The pilot miraculously survived the horrible crash, and even though he was in extreme pain with trauma to his shoulder and a spinal dislocation, he still found the strength to sound the alarm.
