A landslide in Val Ferret, at the foot of the Mont Blanc Massif in Italy (Courmayeur)
The landslide wiped out several cars on Monday night, sadly a couple lost their lives after their car was hit.
The landslide occurred after a huge storm shortly before 18:00 in Courmayeur.
A woman was reported missing after the storm, her lifeless body was found Tuesday morning. Her husband a 71-year-old Milanese tourist, had already been found Monday evening in the car.
Val Ferret is no longer accessible by road. It will take at least ten days to clear the 25,000 cubic meters of rock thats cutting the valley in two.
More than 200 people were evacuated, and taken to the sports centre and the Courmayeur golf club.
