Chamonix & Courmayeur Freeride World Tour UPDATE.

Freeride World Tour drop the Chamonix Valley from this years winter circuit…

Team Planet have recently discovered that Chamonix & Courmayeur will not be on the calender for this years famous Freeride World Tour.  This comes after two years of bad luck for the event, Chamonix has had a late snow fall for the last two years and with this event being fairly early in our long season it made for some difficult planning.

Hopefully the event will be back in 2018/2019 as this event shows the world how epic the Chamonix Valley is.  Chamonix needs events like this in order to show the world why it holds the title of :

“Extreme Sports Capital Of The World”

Warning have no fear!  Going by the long weather projections there is countless cold fronts coming in one after the other.  What does this mean for us…A lot of waist deep high-fiving!  Team Planet has heard rumours that there will be some new freeride events taking place this year, soo keep an eye on Planet Chamonix to get all the latest developments as they come in!
