Saint Gervais/ Megeve Still Provides Some great Skiing Well Into April.

Last Friday, Team Planet made the most out of the sunny weather and headed on over to St Gervais/ Megeve for some slush fun.  After a quick warm up lap we tackled the fierce Mont Jolly, and boy did we get lucky.  After making sure that the face was safe we dropped into the north face and found some great spring corn.  Gully after gully we kept finding fantastic snow conditions whilst repeating to ourselves “Is this really APRIL!”

After midday the more exposed faces started naturally shedding, so we listened to our ever growling stomachs and skied down to St Nicolas.  FYI La Schuss makes a killer Spinach & Leek Quiche!

After lunch it was time for some slush runs, piste after piste we found naturally formed hits and rollers to launch from.  Unfortunately we could not ski the whole way down to Bettex, so a quick download from the top of the Bettex Lift was necessary.

The Whole Area is open until the 15th of April, so head across and enjoy some of the best spring skiing possible!
