Sunny Afternoon In Chamonix, For Now…

Sunny Friday afternoon here in Chamonix, but a cold wintery front set to roll in over the weekend. 

Temperatures are set to hit the mid teens this afternoon, with beautiful blue skies to match.

Tonight will see the temperature drop dramatically with some possible snow showers.

Tomorrow will be a lot cooler with up to 35cm of fresh snow through-out the day.

Sunday will be much of the same with a little less snow, temperatures staying down around -5°.

Monday will see about 10cm of snow plus a big drop in temperature later in the evening, lows of -15°.

Into next week the weather is set to get a lot brighter with some clear sunny spells but still bitterly cold.

The 50cm+ of snow set to fall will stay in great shape with these low temperatures, just don’t forget your long johns!
