A woman in her forties was killed yesterday under the Pointe d’Areu. She had jumped in the early afternoon, accompanied by a second jumper who saw her hit the ground in an area of dense forrest.
After several hours of searching, her body was eventually found by the PGHM at the end of the day.
Pointe d’Areu is a summit of the Aravis mountain range which stands at 2478 meters above sea level.
