DICRIM | Yearly Natural Disaster Report + PDF Download

Every year, the Chamonix Mairie re-release the PDF folder “DICRIM”

DICRIM or DOCUMENT D’INFORMATION COMMUNAL SUR LES RISQUES MAJEURS, is a report of both natural and man made risks and dangers in the Chamonix Valley.

The 15 page report lists all the dangers we face here in the Valley, plus how to deal with any given situation should one arise.

The biggest risk in Chamonix is of coarse avalanches, with over 120 snow filled chutes hanging over head.  The report goes into great detail giving you some invaluable information.

Flooding & storm force winds are also covered with maps and charts.

Living in such an extreme town can be epic, but with the deep and steep powder fields comes a certain risk.  Why not take a minute to look over the PDF, we found some interesting information…
