73 Centimetres Set To Hit Chamonix Over The Week-End!

What a stunning autumn we’ve had, the sun has been beating down on Chamonix relentlessly the whole summer and well into fall.

Here in Chamonix we like two types of weather sunny and …..SNOWY!

With this in mind Chamonix’s kicking of the Winter season in style with a HUGE 73 cm’s forecasted for this weekend, temperatures are set to drop to around -5° this Friday evening.

Whilst out and about this week enjoying what remains of our été indien, check out the berries on all the Ash trees.  Local folklore states that if the berries stay attached well into winter we should expect a BIG winter, as the wildlife leaves them for their winter reserve.

So hold off the snow dance folks & listen to nature, this just might be the start of another #snowmageddon.
