RAIN NEEDED | Les Houches Wild Fire

Friday afternoon saw a wild fire break out in Les Houches just above the climbing wall, in a area difficult to access.

In total 250m² of forest was destroyed in the fire.

After the hammering of snow this winter we have found ourselves in a very dry hot period, the cause of the fire is still undetermined.

Four different fire brigades were called to the fire and some stayed as late as 1am the following morning.

In these conditions as always it’s very important to keep to the code of the forrest.
