As of Monday evening the weather is due to change dramatically.  This weeks weather will be a little bit wet down in town but getting colder near the end of the week, resulting in snowfall down to 800m.

The precipitation will stay constant throughout the week with a much colder snowy front hitting us next weekend.  If we count the forecasted snowfall at 2000m it adds up to an eye watering 117cm!!

Snowmageddon 2018 has proven to be epic so far, lets hope it continues that way till summer!

The Chamonix Mairie are already making plans to move enough snow to open some of the more famous hiking trials, Lac Blanc has currently 5+ meters of snow above the water line.
