Speed-Rider Killed In The Cosmique Couloir

Thursday December the 27th at around 13hr00, a speed rider is believed to have made a bad takeoff in the Cosmique Coulior, resulting in his death.

Two speedriders took off from the same area, when the other realised that his friend was not following him, he alerted the PGHM.

The PGHM found his body at around 14hr00, in amongst the seracs below at an altitude of 3 100m.

The victim was a 42 year old from Chambéry.

The operation was carried out using the Civil Security helicopter, code name “Dragon”
